Elections and Referendum 2011 - Information in British Sign Language PDF Print E-mail

BSL:UPTAKE asked the Electoral Commission if their 2011 election information would be made available in British Sign Language (BSL). They have now done so and the BSL is now online:

We have put the following links to the elections and Referendum information in the BSL:UPTAKE Library:

All items: http://www.bsluptake.org.uk/info/?p=1463

Scotland: http://www.bsluptake.org.uk/info/?p=1484

England: http://www.bsluptake.org.uk/info/?p=1467

Northern Ireland: http://www.bsluptake.org.uk/info/?p=1472

Wales: http://www.bsluptake.org.uk/info/?p=1477

In the national sections, for ease of access, we have listed separately links to the BSL, Audio, Booklet and Large Print. In the case of Wales, we have also put links to the Welsh language versions of the Audio, Booklet and Large Print.

We're pleased to say that there is now online a BSL translation of a document that may also be useful to BSL users in making their democratic decisions, 'The Future of British Sign Language in an Inclusive Scotland (Scotland’s Futures Forum, 2010)'. The link to this can be found here:
