An Action Plan for Developing Sustainable Public Management Research in Scotland: survey

This survey explores opportunities for and challenges to the public services research agenda in Scotland. The intention is to:

  • explore ways to foster and maximise collaborative and collegiate engagement;

  • identify significant gaps in our knowledge base and key research areas that need to be addressed;

  • map the existing Scottish capacity to address such questions and the availability of potential funding sources for such research;

  • identify institutional blocks to collaboration;

  • propose ways for developing sustainable growth in research capacity and ensuring the optimal impact of the growing body of Scottish public management research, both upon public management theory and upon knowledge transfer in Scotland

We have tried to keep the questionnaire very short and it should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. To ensure data security, the survey uses SSL encryption. All information will be treated in confidence and no data will be used in a way that could identify specific individuals.
